Most homes work best with water pressure around 50 to 60 pounds per square inch (PSI). A reading between 40 and 60 PSI is generally comfortable for everyday use, while pressure above 80 PSI is too high for a residential plumbing system. Pressure that is consistently below 40 PSI may make showers, faucets, toilets, and
